I recently added a pair of irrubesco puffers to my 55g community tank and the male was extremely aggressive towards the female, charging/striking at her at every opportunity, whenever he saw her.
I have since exchanged the male for a slightly smaller male, which is a lot less aggressive, but still chases the female on occasion.
Would getting a couple more females help by spreading out the aggression? I don't really want to add more irrubescos unless it would solve the issue, as I intend to add a few colomesus asellus in about 2 weeks time.
