Aggressive Guppies

You are welcome!

Unfortunatly, I'm leaving tonight for Denver, so I can't help with the water after that...but I'm sure someone else can. Nitrites and Ammonia should be 0, Nitrate should be below 40, and p.H should be around 7ish. You could also post in Beginner Questions if you need more help on that. :)

Sorry, but it does appear that I need help now :(

I have had a male mollie die recently which Annastasia told me was due to swim bladder failure after I described how it died etc. I am sad to say that I have just witnessed the exact same type of behaviour from my recently purchased female swordtail... :-( it is still alive barely. I have put it in a bag filled with a little water from the tank so it is seperated from the rest- wasn't happy that my shrimp was attacking it.

I plan on buying a water test kit tomorrow to do some testing, and naturally I am very concerned now over the health of the other fish in my tank. With no where else to put them I guess I am going to have to take some sort of action in the morning. It has been suggested that I do a 25-50% water change as well as buying a water testing kit.

It has been quite a sad start to tropical fish owning overall :-(

that poor fish. :rip: well i have had that happen also and it was just that one fish. good luck with the rest of the tank and hope all goes well.
