african dwarf frogs
iv seen them but i no nothing about them

what do they eat
are they help ur tank
are they fry friendly
do they cause chaos of any kind
howbig do they get
do they breed in captivity.

they are interesting but i dunno wat they do? im asking in this forum because they are commonly kepted with livebearers......and i like u peeple better than in the other forums :p

I have had 2 in my tank for about a year now. I haven't seen any eggs or mateing. They usually just eat the fish flakes that fall to the bottom and some times as a treat I will throw in frozzen blood worms for them. They are no help to the tank really but they are fun to watch. Both of mine are pretty nice they will snap at a fish though if the fish tries to get to close.

ADF's eat live or frozen bloodworms or you can try Frog/Tadpole pellets. I really don't think they benefit your tank. I wouldn't put them with fry. Fry are so small they look like food to almost anybody. But they are completely friendly. They can get up to about 2.5 inches. The only difficulty with them is that if they're kept with fish, they're hard to feed. Either they'll hide all the time or the fish wil eat all their food. I caught mine doing the nasty recently but I haven't seen any eggs. They will eat their eggs and babies so they'd most likely eat small fry. They're great pets though. Hope I helped!

I remember having about 4 of those frogs almost a year ago. I thought they were neat but i think mine slowly starved to death because not once did i ever see them eat.

Good Luck with em. I hear they make little noises.
