hey all,

i was looking at my tank and then it dawned to me: i should get a african dwarf frog! (or just dwarf frogs? :/ ) anyways, i was thinking of putting it in a 20 gallon with these:

3 kuhli loaches
1 albino rainbow shark (im moving the shark into a 75 in a few months, so hes temporarly in here)
3 albino cory catfish
6 glofish (2 pink, 2 orange, 2 green)

and thats it! probably my most peaceful tank, so i thought that i should put some in there. also, again, its 20 gallon.
how many frogs can i get?

hi i have got two ADF's in a 45 gallon with other peaceful fish, they are nice but they hide alot of the time and they are slow to get food , the fish always get their food first so a bit tricky to feed them- i have found the best way to feed is to feed the fish first then about an hour later (in the evening because they hunt at nght) give the frogs some blood worms and the fish r usually too full to bother giving the frogs a chance.
Anyway, I read you need to allow a gallon each per frog so youd have to work it out, but a pair seems quite nice, i cudnt just get one as i thought he would be lonely ;-) hope that helps

ok!

I used to have a African dwarf frog until i found out it was a clawed frog. Give it away as it was suppose to grow big.

Best thing I ever had he was always out. Used to drop blood worms in for him through a straw hew ould be waiting and jump out. kept me entertained for ages.

I fully believe that the frogs live happier, healthier, and less stressful lives in their own tank - -

Tetras are fast and nippy - may nibble eyes and toes and eat the food quickly.
As long as the shark is residing in this tank I would say do not even attempt it. Wait until the rainbow has been moved into your bigger tank.

with adf in community tanks you must be dedicated about feeding them either with your fingers, tweezers, or turkey baster. They hunt by scent, not sight and are very slow at finding food.
