African Dwarf Frogs!

Do african dwarf frogs shed skin? if so is this for growth or another mechanism?? i ask this as one of mine has just decided to shed a layer and am not sure why?

hi yeah its natural for them to shed parts of there skin

oh yes they do, i have two and it startled me the first time i saw it.
they will eat it, or it will drift off to the filter.

Wanted to add that even full grown adult frogs shed too.

Cheers for that! Just to let you know that mine decided to shed a whole layer in one like a snake, thats probably why it was a bit freaky!
