African Dwarf Frogs With Betta

rather than start a new frog I have a ADF named Klaus! Calcifer insists on getting in the way while I acclimatise him the sweetie. No signs of flaring or aggression which I hope continues once Klaus is in. Few more minutes and Klaus will be free, will try and get pictures :)

Quick question..I have my Betta in a 12 gallon tank, but it is 18 inches high, and I use gravel...would this be suitable to add a couple of ADF's? or is it too high?

If you add plenty of tall plants like Cabomba, Elodia and tall broad leafed plants like Amazon swords and Aponogentons ( or their silk equivalents ) then they should be fine.

Honeythorn is exact on the mark, need plenty in their for them to feel snug and safe but also so they have resting points etc to get to the surface. Some pots/ caves would not go amiss on the floor of the tank either x

I'm quite tempted to get a couple for my 30 gallon now actually. I have loads of really tall echinodorus and aponogentons which trail on the surface so they'd be great for frogs hmm....*plots* :hey:
