Hey everyone, I have had 2 ADF for about 6 months now, a male and a female. They have been singing the entire time I’ve had them and a couple times a week they latch onto each other. I know this is normally a sign of mating but as I said it been happening every few days for six months and there are never any babies. I was wondering if they are just doing it for “fun” or if there is another reason?

My first guess woul be that while the male appears to be ready, perhaps the female is not yet ready to produce eggs.

Mine did this often and rarely laid eggs
