African Cichlids Id

hi, ive recentley been given some african cichlids but i dont know what type they are ??? ive got a good idea of how they like their water/food & their needs ect, but if someone could ID these for me please if would help. thanks

Sorry if the quality's naff as they were took with a mobile phone. btw,Picture 5 & 6 are the same fish.

3) Peacock of some sort, hard to tell from photo

2. Male sciaenochromis fryeri

3. Aulonocara stuartgranti, I believe

4. I'm not positive because of the pic, but it it has an over-hanging upper lip, I think it is a female
Labeotropheus trewavasae (Maleri)

5/6. Definately not m.greshaki as they have an orange dorsal, definately mbuna, just not sure which one.

eehh I dont know ferris, the mouth is a little large for an afra. sure have been an aweful lot of hybrid zebras on the market lately, the future looks bleak for a pure strain.

Nope the first one is a female kenyi (metriaclima lombardoi), body wise it's easy to tell the difference, they just have the same coloration.


I was thinking c.afra, but wasn't sure enough to write it down. I'm finally starting to get better at ID's.
