Are the these best in groups in your experience?

Would a group of 3 or 4 be ok in a 5ft tank say or would they need to be in a bigger group

Yes, best in groups. 3 or 4 would be great.

The patterns of fish sales are interesting. In my corner of Canada, this fish is a regular in good aquarium stores. I see them a couple of times a year.
