Advice On Hailea Pump For Fish Room

Hi, i,ve been looking for a pump to power several sponge filters and stones, but want something that is quiet as my fishroom is in room next to lounge. Anyone recomend one, i've been looking at a Hailea ACO-9630 with 8 outlets, are these any good.

hi angel, how was the holls?


personally Iwould try & get a hi-blow or hagen "the pump", the hailea I had was very noisy by comparison.

Hi mike, Hols was great thanks. I'll look up the hagen and hi-blow, any idea on box or sponge filters for larger tanks which is best (trying to keep electric bill down abit). asked for an expansion to my fishroom for christmas, need the room for that spare tank for the e.canarensis and their fry lol

yeah right....


I use a lot of huey hung sponge filters, the floor standing ones are the best IMO ( as opposed to having suckers)

Cheers for advice mike os. I have a couple of small huey hung sponge filters on suckers, there a right pain, always falling off, i'll try the freestanding ones.
