Advice On Glass Cleaning

I got the Rio 240 for £160 from an old member on here who was local and giving up fish keeping for a while. Considering the cost of a brand new Rio 240 (somewhere around the £500 mark) I considered I'd got a bargain!
 
It's worth checking out gumtree and ebay etc .. see if anything is doing there. It's nice to have a brand spanker but they are so pricey!

Yeah new tanks are really pricey, mine was from gumtree plus the guy delivered it to me for free.
I'll start checking in a few weeks for one when we've made room for it. Waiting on some furniture to go then gonna bend her ear till she lets me get another tank lol

I've tried so many different algae scrubbers but nothing beats getting your arm in the tank with a pan scourer!

I have to agree with this.
 
These are great, And you can also use them in your filter.

Just remember that green algae is actually good It helps bring oxygen into the water and your fish probably like to snack on it as well. Maybe only scrub the frontal view? It isnt very pretty but just a thought!
