Bristlenose plecs. And if you don't mind having snails, get some trumpet snails too. They hide in the substrate during the day and clean the tank during the night, and will not eat plants. Some LFSs will give you a bunch of them for free when you purchase something else, because these critters multiply like crazy.

Welcome to the forum Lilspike. Most LFS will give you snails whether you like it or not when you buy plants. That is not such a bad thing if you have algae. The slimy stuff is usually cyanobacteria, not a true algae but often called blue green algae or BGA. It can be controlled but not eliminated by reducing how much you feed the tank. When the overfeeding is gone, the cyanobacteria will drop way down. At that point you clean out what you can manually and it should get completely under control.
