Adonis Or Blue Phantom?

help me decide what plec to buy next
this (adonis) or this (blue phantom)

My personal preference would be for the Adonis but at 24" that fish is a complete no-go for me

I agree on the Adonis. Its a great looking fish. I like both of them, so it would be hard for me to choose. I like all plecos

I didn't realise they(adonis) got so big
I guess it's the Blue phantom then.

I was just about to say only get the adonis if you can provide the room for a 2 foot long eating and pooing machine.

Blue Phantom all the way, should max out at about 9-10", just as nice looking plec if you get a good specimin, and you dont have to worry about it growing to 2ft, (potentially 3ft in the wild!).

Don't just say that without justification, thats a potentially huge fish you are supporting someone purchase, If you think its the right one to pick then you should really say why.

I asked because I really like both and doing a very quick search on the net
I found two sites that listed the max size of the adonis as 5". I'm guessing
they have them confused with a L155 adonis pleco.

Thanks for all the replys, it will be the blue phantom now and when I have a
large tank, I'll get the adonis.

I think it's actually a shame that they seem fairly easily available too. I've seen them in shops a few times, but I think they should have a huge warning on their tank to go with it !
Still, gorgeous fish though
