I'm getting quite interested in Corys after watching some cheery little Sterbais in the LFS, have heard that Adolfis are rare and being as how I always want things I can't have...was wondering what do people on here have to say about them???

C.adolfoi aint really that rare. There are quite a few places on the net you can get them from and many LFS have them. They are often confused with C.duplicarous which are very similair. So much so that they only real way to tell them apart is that the latter have a serated edge to their pectoral fins, which requires a magnifying glass to see them.

There are also C121's which are similair to these 2 but have a clear gill plate giving a red 'blush' like effect. Its still not determined whether or not these are a seperate species or are just a varient of them.
