Hi!

I currently have a 25L (5/6 gal) tank that I'm planning on eventually adding a betta to. My partner really loves shrimp and snails so we were wondering if is it possible to house them with a betta (and if it is, how many we can add)? All the information on it that I find tells me different things :S

I was looking at getting a mystery snail and maybe a few cherries.

May work , may not...depends on the betta...some do fine with snails, some nip at the snail eye stalks...some do fine with shrimp, while others get to enjoy a pricey snack

I think I'll have a go, I'm thinking if they were already in there before the betta then they'll have their hiding spots ready

Do you recommend them?
sure, they are nice snails I just thought they would be a bit big for a 5 gallon tank. I personally like Nerites better but they do leave eggs everywhere. I think the Nerite seem to clean better.

Yes, I would agree. Almost definitely too big if they're two inches!
I was wondering, for myself, what do you feed yours? I'm thinking about getting one for my 200l tank, I think they're very pretty! I've been researching a little, apparently they eat algae (not surprising) and vegetables?
How old is he/she?

I've had them before but this one I have only had a couple of months and it has doubled or even tripled in size in that time. I throw a pleco wafer in a couple times per week but I want it to be hungry to it keeps eating algae in the tank.
