You may have seen my thread in the planted section. I recently set up a 15g planted tank following a silent cycle - fairly heavily planted.

The tank has been running for about 6 weeks now. 10 glowlight rasbora and 5 amano shrimp are the current occupants and have been in for just over a week. No sign of ammonia or nitrite so far.

So now I want to add the next fish. 4 honey gourami. Would this add too much bio load in one go?

Would it better to add them 2 at a time - reduce bio load. Or all together so they settle as a group?

Personally, I would do two add a time. Having patience would be much better than dealing with an ammonia spike.
