Hey everyone, need some advice please.

Ok so i have the standard two bulb lights on my fluval edge but one of the bulb sockets is broke, i looks like its rusted, tried to fix it but no joy. I had an idea where i would take the spare light off my old biorb and attach it over where the broken socket was. Ive took the biorb light apart and just need some advice on attaching it to the light.

This is what the biorb light looks like

One thing is the screw that tightnens the wire in place seems to be rusted so i cant undo it so i would need another to replace it, does anyone know what this bit is called? here is a picture

Ok, so I was thinking of just cable tying it around the plastic part of the fluval edge light bracket, would this be safe or would it somehow over heat and burn the plastic?

Also i was thinking if this works, is it possible to purchase something similar to the light off the biorb so i can add another to the light bracket so i have 3 in total then? If so what would it be called as ive tried looking but dont know what im looking for.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Yeah have seen them but I'm getting a new tank for xmas so dontt wanna be spending 30-40 quid on some lights that won't get used after that, just looking for a cheap solution for the time being.
