Adding fish to cycled tank

Thinking on getting some neon tetras. How many would you deem acceptable for a 20g long with the 8 corys?
Is there any other fish you plan on adding? Or just corydoras and neons?

In a 20 gallon I cant think of a centerpiece fish really that would work well. If you keep it at just these 2 fish you could easily have 15 or so neons

I just wanted to update this thread and say that it has been a successful 5 days with all 8 of my corys. They seem happy and are always grouped up. I’m thinking of adding another school of fish tomorrow or the day after. Would this be to soon? Or should I go for it?

Hi.
I think that they would be completely fine if you add them :)

Two important questions.

What are your water parameters, especially GH (hardness) and pH?

Do you have live plants in the tank, and if yes, which? This is important when it comes to adding new fish.
