Acrylic or Glass ??

Hello All ...

I know this question must of been debated before ... but I've been out of the hobby for twenty years ...

Poked into a shop about tens years ago and one retailer refused to sell anything but acrylic ??

I can't see how in this day and age acrylic material would cost more then a piece of glass ?? In my ignorant view it seems those that sell aquariums to hotels .. offices ect. have more to gain from acrylic then home hobbyist ?

Acrylic scratches horribly. In my opinion I would not go near an acrylic tank - they look horrible and they scratch badly.
