anyone with experience with these??? I'm moving some adult Tin Foils, & looks like I'm starting a Barb tank / bigger fish Asian tank... & I don't have much experience in this area... I've got some ( Dawkinsia assimilis ) Mascara Barbs on my list, & the seller has 4 inch fish right now, which should be starting to color up???

I know the tank will fill fast with bigger fish... so maybe just that "one more"... I ran across these, & they also look amazing, but there is not much I can find on them, except info given by the seller... they get 8 inches and are peaceful, & can be kept in a group or solitary...

My personal calculation for fish that move is one inch of fish, at full adult size, needs 10 inches of front glass. So those 8 inchers would need a huge tank.
As for the first one there - they aren't well known.

Cool looking fish! I have no info on the species in question, but I'm guessing they like the standard barb stuff: Coolish water, lots of current, lots and lots of room. I agree that you're going to need a big tank for all of those...but wow, what a most excellently cool looking tank it would be!
