Aci Ii ( Tanxania )

has anyone heard of the ACI ii ( Tanxania )?

Assuming you are referring to a variety of fish, the closest (off the top of thehead) could be:

Pseudotropheus sp. Acei.

Doesn't fit with 'Tanxania' (possibly Tanzania / Tanganyika) as this is a Malawi Mbuna.

okay it would be tanzania and from what i was told it is a ACI ii ( tanxania), i have seen them once before from what i can remember they have a black body and are mouth breeders, any more clues on what these fish are anyone? , please help as i am going to buy these fish but would also like this forums advice first :good:

i am getting a colony of 6, 2 males and 4 females

The only fish close to that I know of is P.Acei (Ngara), they have a black body with white fins. Care is the same as for the "standard" P.Acei (Msuli).

Edit: Are you getting these from an LFS or an on-line supplier? If you haven't seen them in person, I'd ask for an actual pic of the fish you are interested in for positive ID. I'd be a little concerned with a supplier that bungles a name that badly.
