ACE or AquaSafe?

For new water out of the tap
which is better to use ACE? or AquaSafe??
the aqua safe says it removes heavy metals and chlorine and chloramine
the ace just the ammonia and chloramine and chlorine

are they safe to mix? or is one of the m better??
i'm still new and trying to learn what i should buy and shouldn't buy
for now i've been usign the aquasafe

I'm not to sure about ACE but i know some chlorine removers turn the chlorine into Amonia which you dont want in your tank ..... Tetra Aqua Safe doesn't turn chlorine into amonia...I use Aquasafe and have never had a problem...It works fast ....If im completely worng here someone please point that out to me

I have used ACE without any problems, but I recently switched to a non-namebrand dechlorinator. I got it at Petsmart. It was only 9 USD and the bottle treats over 7,000 gallons!
