I ordered some fish off the internet that are being sent to me, overnight courier. I was going to use the drip method to acclimitise them but wondered if there was anything particular i should bear in mind when acclimitising them after such a long journey.

They are wild caught corydoras that have been kept in HMA water.

The drip method will be fine.

Don't subject them to bright light right away, that can be very stressful for them.

Al the best.

Fatheadminnow makes a very good point about the light being stressful.

I wrap mine in a towel as I take them out of the box, and keep the tank, bucket or whatever wrapped up as I acclimitise them. DON'T be tempted to take the bags out, lift them up and have a good look at them. I killed the first lot of fish I bought online by doing that :(

Take everything very, very slowly and gently and you'll be fine :)

Agree with everything said above, sounds very similar to what I've done myself and also Uriel it's good you already knew you'd be doing drip method! Good luck with it, a fair amount of it is beyond any of our control and so we'll have our fingers crossed for you. :good: WD
