So im doing a water change like normal. Twist (hes my resuce) decides to jump out of the net and land in the sink!
I managed to get him before he went down the tube but boy did he scare me! :X I think he thinks hes a cat with 9 lives.
When I first got him I didnt think he would make it through the night. He did and slowly got better. :D
Than he decided to jump out of his tank (I had taken the lid off for him to look up to the sky....) I found him in time and saved him again. :look:
Now with the sink incident....
Does anyone else have a accident prone betta like me?

All of my wilds (b. imbellis and b. picta) are jumpers; a few of my splendens jump as well, but not nearly as frequently as the others. I think splendens all have varying degrees of jumping proficiency(?) :fun:

lol me step bro tried to breed his walMart betta an the female jumped out of the lil hole between the top an the filter. we didnt realize till after we got home from pizza hut an found lil wet flop marks in the dust leading to a nearly dead girl but she lived

Its just weird how out of all of my bettas hes the one who keeps trying to jump! I keep saving him, time and time again :)

I have a girl in my female tank that manages to jump out at least once a day during feeding. I leave a tiny 1" crack to feed the girls and she finds a way I guess. She has landed in the kitchen sink, counter and the floor. I am always amazed she does not get hurt. I put a cookie sheet next to the tank at feeding times to keep her from going far. I guess she is my houdini fish.

Wow that is one betta that's lucky to be alive! lol. This is my second betta and have only had him one day, but he is really fiesty, so I don't know. But My first betta that I had a few years ago jumped out of the net when I was doing a water change and landed splat on the tile floor, I was kind of young and so I started screaming because I didn't know what else to do *I'm 13 now, so I was maybe 9-10 then" And so my mom comes rushing in and just gets the net and puts him back in the tank. I think he was a little shook up, but he made it another 6 months before eventually dying. But he lived a good 2 years... :)
