About When Will My Guppy Give Birth?

My female fancy guppy's gravid spot is very dark and she looks like she's going to pop, you can see the eyes of the fry in it, and they aren't specks they are big, and there are a few clear spots with black dots in them what is that? And will she give birth anytime soon?

looks like she is squaring off, should be very soon, few days or so. you can put her in a bear bottom (with pants on the bottom for cover, for the fry) but make sure the tank is cycled so you can help the babies, and when she is recovered after giving birth you can put her back with the rest.

I believe in letting nature doing its own thing survival of the fittest and don't separate them, if there are any deformed fry they will not survive any fit fry are strong enough to survive. I agree with the plants.

Sorry my name is not LOL. That is an abbreviation for "Lots Of Laughs". You really need floating plants for the fry as they seem to like swimming at the surface, well that has been my experience.

Where do the dry come out on guppiws? Is it where they poop or somewhere else?

Yes just in front of the anal fin.If you are lucky enough to be there at birth you can't miss the fry coming out.
