i recently purchased an ABF for $5 US at a LFS and have been having fun feeding him all the daddy long legs i could find. while i enjoy these free meals, i dont want to eliminate daddy long legs from my house, and this little guy is small and hungry. i fed him about five decent spiders throughout the day as he was the runt (but best colored) in the tank. i'm wondering if anyone knows if this guy is sensative to any spider venoms? obviously im not planing on throwing black widows in here but some garden spiders might contain different venoms since these guys are african natives. any ideas or experience is appreciated! P.s. im in southern california if that makes a difference.

I'm not sure on how well they tolerate spider venom but generally any spider that isn't venomous should be fine for them to eat. Common garden spiders are generally not too venomous and would constitute part of a frogs diet. Therefore they should be fine for yours :)
