Aarrgggghhhh Shrimp

we got shrimp (ammano/cherry) a while back but it was only as soon as they went into the tank i realised i was terrified of them.. now they make doing anything in the tank nearly impossible, it means everything takes about ten times longer now because i have to make sure they dont come near me...

they remind me of spiders...

anyone else affraid of the little so and so's??

Hah, I did the very same thing. Got some Ammano shrimps and now I hate puting my hands in near them

I have no problem with shrimp... My issue is snails. They freak me out. So the whole pest-snails with live plants thing?... made working in my tank an awful experience. I think I've got rid of all the little things now. Took to throwing them out with the waterchange water.

I got some goast shrimp, and was not afriad of them but did't want them touching me, but they all died out and or have been eatting,there really nothing to be afrid of I would bet 100% that one wouldn't go near you, plus they don't have teeth so there nothing at all to be afriad of.

I've had mine for a little over a week now (I think)

I look at them as little water bugs, alot like spiders.

I Dont know why they dont bother me cos I HATE spiders. I think its cos they are aquatic...I like aquatic things. Though I wouldn't touch a water spider (those ones that run across the top)or an octopus/squid so thats not the greatest logic.

I dont know...maybe cos they are like Prawns and I love them...Who knows.

I'm fine with them, let them crawl all over my hands as i cleaned the tank yesterday.
