Aaaghh Airstones

Every place I go to seems to have loads of different shape,size airstones but they are all BLUE!! Why why why...

Why can't they make them Black or sand or brown so they blend into the Gravel,sand rocks!!!

I've tried to bury them but they float back ontop of the sand put rocks on them and they get twice as noisy and don't produce the 'fine' curtain of bubbles...

Sorry had to rant.

Gonna try and make a ridge out of stones in front to hide them..

I hid mine behind the bog wood I've got its a pain that they are blue

When I had air stones, I buried mine under the gravel

Just bought a Black 23" bubble curtain for £6.50 inc postage off Bay of E... hopefully it should look alot better

i have a volcano on top of mine, i think its a good effect

Could try a cheap CO2 diffuser instead, they come in white, or there's brown wooden ones...

Take tan/brown/black coloured pipe, drill fine holes in it, silicone one end, silicone an air line adapter into the other, instant air curtain

I got one of the bubble walls there good (if your pump is strong enough) I just dug a small trench at the back of the tank, pushed the stone thing down. most of its covered in sand now so cant see it but works good, the sand that goes on top gets blow off when ever i turn it on
