You know he sits like this for hours until I feed him :dunno: What a life
I like this guy  All your fish are awesome. What kind of sevrum is that it has really ncie colors!
Little Mo is a favorite of ours , you should see him bolt after food ........real fast .

The sev is just a gold strain sev , the guy at the shop called it either Red faced or Red cheeked , I can't remember which it was , and he too is a favorite .

I just went in and looked at the sevs in My LFS. I could see that pattern on their cheeks. They are the sam kind as yours! Unfortunately the LFS lady wouldnt let me get them bcuz she said that the almost an inch sev would kill my 4" RTBS.

Love the pics, V Nice fish. I just posted some of my Peacocks I love those fish. I like your Uaru too

 That's funny, sevs aren't too aggressive, if you have a big enough tank say that your RTBS passed away, maybe she'll let you get a sev then

Thanks jflowers the Uaru is cool :D

Yeah. Ill just go back when shes not there.
I've kept RTBS with a sev , I'll keep sevs again but no red tailed black sharks , I found them to grow intolerant of tank mates as they got older , and extremely Territorial as well .

A one inch severum will kill a 4 "RTBS " :grr: , severums are big fluffs compared to many fish , and I would include RTBSs' on that list .

Could this lady had been confusing the severum with some other type of fish , maybe a pink convict cichlid ?

Severums do grow to 8 to 10" , maybe as much as 12", and love greens [ veggies that is ] , they make wonderful pets .

...your gudgeon looks very outa shape.
Why isnt the tummy round?
It looks like a male to me.
My male was alot brighter and had quite a large hump on his head. He also had a very round belly.
Is your sick?
He's always been like that, and he's never had any serious health conditions. You had a female and that's probably why it was more colorful.

Thanks for anyone who complimented my fish or lucky's photography :)
I had a big bright male, i havent seen one female with such a hump on its head.

I was trying to say that you're male was probably so bright because he had a female, i believe you mentioned that you had a pair earlier :) My original gudgeon was a female, with no hump of course :)

Gorgeous piccies! I particularly love Mo, Sunny and your Uaru.

We bought a Purple Spotted Gudgeon yesterday - our first ever! So far, she's just been sitting near the top of the tank behind some nice bushy plants. :D I'll post some pics soon.

Love that Sev. He's so bright. I've never seen one that bright before! And The Gudgeon is awesome. I might have to have a look and see if I can accomodate one of them!!
Great Pics and fish Lucky and Dwarfs!!

Thanks guys .

Minions , enjoy the Mogurnda .

As we've just got a PSG, I've been doing a little research.

It seems that Little Mo's belly is perfectly normal... for a male in breeding condition!

Here's a quote from here

males begin to show an increase in blue body colouration and begin to signal a desire to breed ...
...another (breeding) sign to watch for is the urinogenital area which becomes very pointed

Here's our new PSG - We've named her Sheila (because she's Australian)
