I have a 3ft long 130 litre tank and when I got it I was given a common pleco with it problem is he 7" long now and I now he's only guna get bigger. Here's where I've got my problem I feel like I should take him to my lfs so he can be given a bigger tank but I do love him he's awsome to watch can some1 talk me round lol

I know it's hard to rehome fish you've got fond of, but you just have to tell yourself it's in fish's best interest and that you're doing the right thing.

If someone had given you a shire horse, you wouldn't try and keep it in your back garden would you? You'd know that it wouldn't have enough room and would be unhappy; it's exactly the same with fish.

Consol yourself by buying yourself a nice little plec, like a bristlenose; just as much fun to watch, and you can enjoy it without the guilt :)

I'm in the same boat as you but with 1 of my female green terrors, i've had them both since they was about an inch but i don't know what 1 to rehome .
Try rehome your pleco to somebody you know is addicted to keeping fish, it'll put your mind at ease that little bit more.

Thanks guys that has made me make the right decision I think I may get a nice little bn thanks again

I done the right thing to him to my lfs and they gave me 7 pound for him. So I got 3 red eye tetras and 3 green tiger barbs to add to the 1s I've already got
