Hey SLC, is that the Living Planet Aquarium? How much was it and was it worth it? (judging by the pics it was) I am planning a trip down there soon, would love to check it out...

Yeah it is the Living Planet Aquarium. It's a bit pricey for what they have. It's not terribly large, their exhibits are few but nice, and I bought a season pass because it was only about $10 more than what it would have cost for my wife 2 kids and myself to get in for the day. I don't mind supporting them even if they ask a lot for admission, they have gotten a raw deal from Salt Lake City's mayor and have to raise a lot more money now before they can open up their 90,000 square foot facility. I'm hoping that will happen so I'll support them whenever I can.

They would have had the facility nearly done by now, but Rocky Anderson is an idiot and he basically pulled the rug out from under them after spending years convincing them to put a public aquarium in Salt Lake City.

But yeah, check it out!
