A Terrifying Experience

Just a tip, a fish youtuber I watch described and filmed a filmed a little him reviving a fish that had jumped out of the tank, and had been out of the water for a while, dried out, not showing signs of breathing. He held it facing into the filter output so water was flowing over its gills, and held it there for 10-15 minutes as the fish slowly revived, and it survived.

So even if it seems hopeless, it's at least worth a try to use this 'fish CPR' should this happen to anyone else!

Ooh, I like that tip, makes a lot of sense in trying that.

Thats if it ever happens, hopefully not and touch wood as I’ve been lucky that never had a fish jump from my open top tanks.

It's worth giving that video a watch, it's only short, and you get to see the fish in question! Hope it never happens to you, or any of us, but it doesn't hurt to have that nugget of an idea tucked away in your brain space, for a fish that needs oxygen, just in case! :D
