A Tank Full Of Fish I Never See...

IMO danios are dull and boring. sure they swim around a lot but thats about it. i guess it all depends on what you want but i always try and stock active yet also pretty fish. makes it nicer to sit there and stare at some beautiful colour rather than something dull. anyway that is my opinion. maybe you should take what everyone has suggested and do a little research and find out what you like more. the other thing with the rams is they will grow much smaller than the danios.

but thats my two cents worth lol
if you look at blue danios, they are anything but drab. they are very pretty fish, tinted blue and sparkly, the the fins are very pretty and soothing if you get the long fin version.

Well now I just have too many choices! :D

Three fingers - those killis are lovely. There seems no consensus about them in the info I can find - are they aggressive or not? And will they hide? All the profiles of them that I read say "provide hiding spots" - is that code for "will be another fish in your tank that you don't see"? LOL

I'm leaning towards gourami I guess. Except how big do the 'non-dwarf' ones get? Some of the species profiles say about 5" - that's probably bigger than I really want. I wonder if the dwarf ones here suffer from iridovirus. I have found a reputable fish shop, I could check it out. If it turns out they're ok, could I keep a male and two females? Or just one?

Edited to fix unbearable typos.

I've got panchax too and they are beautiful they sit quite peacefully at the top of the tank nothing bothers them at all and they are always at the front of the glass, I have 2 opaline goramis and they are always out and about do like hiding sometimes but are very happy to just swim together they are about 4 inches each and dont bother anyone so my vote would be for either the panchax Chuka1212 showed ya in the pic or get a nice gorami!!!
