A Swordtail

my swordtail looked pregent so i put it in a fish hatchery and slowly it started to look like it had had its fry.does anyone know wats going on?

By hatchery do u mean a baby tank or the breeder box with the seperater?

If you can please post a picture. If she is thinner than you remember when you put her in the box and no longer looks pregnant chances are she just had a very full stomach and isnt quite ready to deliver.

Of darn. If she hasnt given birth already i would take her out of the box. I just started back up and only can tell when they are about to give birth. Literally the bottom of the fishes chest will match where she gives birth to the fry. You could draw almost a sraight line. If her booty is still higher than the lowesr part of her chest she still needs some time
