A spot on the nose

One of my neon tetra and one of my head&tail lights has a what looks like grain of salt on the tip of their nose. Otherwise they are just fine and healthy. This spot seems to come and go.

What could it be?

Does this spot, look like a little scrape? They could be scraping theirselves on te ornaments?

If it was ich it would have spread by now.

There are no ornaments to speak of I have loads of natural plants, sand as the substrate, some round stones and the only rough item is probably the airstone.
