Hi.
Right, so I should be getting a new tank very soon and plan on just returning to the world of community tanks, I have reasons which I will explain another time. However, in my current tank I have a Synodontis, I believe it is a Featherfin. Thing is, my dad bought it and he is kinda attached to it. Would it be safe to keep this fish with things as small as guppies, sparkling gouramis, cherry barbs, you get the idea... I have read mixed things about the Synodontis with some hints toward it being quite carnivourous but I am just not sure, your thoughts?

I;ve kept a couple over the years and both have quicly atained a chunky 8 or 9 inches in length with a mouth very capable of taking small fish. I personally wouldn't

I expected that would be the response, just wanted to clarify, thanks.
Are upsidedown catfish syno equally carnivorous? I added one to a tank a few weeks ago and have just noticed 1 neon tetra and a few small beacons appear to be missing.
