I'm glad your corys are doing well so far. Chances are that everything will turn out OK, but a little while in isolation is usually a good thing.

Try to check your ammonia because if the bucket is too small, that would be the thing that would effect them. With the frequent water changes you are doing, the others wouldn't have a chance to build up.

The only other thing I can think to mention is the temperature. There are no big fluctuations are there?

I hope they continue to do as well as they have been and I'll be so happy the day you put them in your tank.

i personally am revolted by temperatures outside of 22 to 25 degrees Celsius, so no. there are no temperature fluctuations.

with any luck, i can get another tank up and running for them in the next couple of days... i need something to root plants in anyways.

water was much clearer this morning; must've had a bacterial bloom from the algae wafer. again changed a gallon and added 1/4 teaspoon Mf. added a pot shard so they could stop trying to all hide behind the airstone at once. checked ammonia, wasn't 0 but was "safe" according to the test strip.

cories are looking pretty good! the pandas are relatively inactive, but the little bronzes are schooling already! its so cute to see them skim along the walls, all four in a row. its funny, but the albinos only occasionally join in and never both at once. i wonder if its just the color difference or did i maybe pick up some venezuelans...

the tank will be set up by saturday, homework or no. i'm determined on this.
