Istant oceans great. They have salt for general tanks and reefs. And not too expensive either.

for example ive found kent reef salt and io for £35 for 25kg. So I was asking if there is any other salt around this price that people would reccommend

trust me to not get it! From personal experience I don't know of anything that cheap other than kent marine that's even worth contemplating!

As I said before it is deficient in lots of the things that you want to maintain - you will end up pouring supplements in till you are blue in the face. The cost of these will greatly outweigh the saving of buying cheap salt.

I read on the web that they changed the formula because of this and that it had been improved. But If it's still bad i'll stick to IO, thanks

I'll buy the small pack of it and mix it in a 10 gal bucket and see what comes out of it
