I don't understand why you want a poll that will be that argumentative, we are all adults and can discuss things rationally, so there is no point in your poll suggestion.
This was what I was going to ask. The problem with closed questions, unless you are very skilful at setting questions, is that there might not be one answer that fits your thoughts. You can then clarify in the comments which answer you have chosen and why it might not reflect your thoughts 100%.what poll were you thinking of posting?
You probably can't cycle a tank seeing as you run them acidicThe cycling question is interesting. I don't think I have ever cycled a tank. I throw a whole lot of plants into a tank, and when they start growing, I throw some fish in the tank. After a while I threw some more fish in the tank. Do I ever think I have cycled the tank? NO.
That is an interesting thought. But even when I had African Cichlids I never thought that the tank was cycled or not I put the young guys in the tank after ten days and away they went, mind you I always have plants in my tanks. You probably can't cycle a tank seeing as you run them acidic
There's a tendency for fishkeepers, especially newbies, to overstock and underplant (live plants). The best advice that can be given for such an eventuality is for them to cycle the tank first and then perform good weekly maintenance. That is an interesting thought. Thats what I do. I still only have my nineteen fish plus babies in my 150 gallon tank. There's a tendency for fishkeepers, especially newbies, to overstock and underplant (live plants). If you've sensibly stocked the aquarium and added plenty of live plants, then again, you might not even be cycling the tank as the plants will consume ammonia and not give bacteria chance to develop.
Is there a question that can be answered either "yes" or "no" and without discussion? My point exactly…look how much context and information has been shared here with the yes/no option nothing would be learnt.
I’m Im interested in the OPs thoughts on what questions they think they’d like to post…
How about are you alive or dead?. But then you could die but think you are alive, and you would never know it.Is there a question that can be answered either "yes" or "no" and without discussion?
I think not....no, I honestly do not believe there will ever be a straight yes or no without some discussion attached.
Ah...but if you are dead, you won't be able to type your answer anywayHow about are you alive or dead?. But then you could die but think you are alive, and you would never know it.
How do you know that for sure? Have you ever been dead?Ah...but if you are dead, you won't be able to type your answer anyway
Not that I know of....although I have been accused of being brain dead many timesHow do you know that for sure? Have you ever been dead?
