 Looks like a real cool site. I am new here but hope to get to know a few of you. I have 6 tanks in my house from 4 gal. to 30 gal. with Angels, African Chiclids, Oscars, Rainbows, Tetras of several types Fancy Goldfish, Plecos, Pictus cats and other cats and some fish that I don't even know. Outdoors I have a 600 gal. pond with goldfish and shubunkins, a 70 gal. pond with a few fancy goldfish and a 750 gal. pond with adult Koi's and yearling koi. I will be adding 4 more 500 gal. ponds this spring. I build almost all of my own filters and skimmers. I guess you could kinda say I am a fishy nut.

Wow, you have a lot of fish and tanks! :hi: to the forum, by the way. It's good to have someone with lots of experience. Have you checked out the DIY section yet?

:D Hi Cutechic, thanks for the welcome. No I have not checked out the DIY but I sure will. I am from Clatskanie, Oregon if you know where that might be, about 40 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean and close to the Columbia River. I live about 10 miles east of town out in the country side on 10 acres. My ponds are starting to come alive as the water temperature is starting to hang around 55 degrees and the fish are starting to become active and the plants are starting to grow. I am having an algae bloom problem in the water right now which is common for this time of year. It dosen't hurt anything but it makes the water murky and it is hard to see the fish unless they are right at the surface.

Thanks to All for the Welcome greetings,
Pondscum
