A new catfish

Hi everyone

On browsu=ing the l.f.s. today - found a plec someone had brought in as he was closing down his tank

Had it cheap and in good health - but they could not tell me what it was

As I am a plec lover - especially the "sucker" types - I could not resist it to give it a good home

On searching "Planet Catfish" it looks very much like a "Candy Stripe" but not as bightly coloured, but his disguise has changed throughout the day/night.

Has anyone any ideas from their experience what he can be, apart from a candy stripe?

Sounds like it could be any one of the peckoltia family.

Have another look at planetcatfish under peckoltia sp.
