A Long Time Ago...

About 5 or 6 weeks - my brother had a 30G tank in his garage that he hadn't used for a few years, he said he was going to throw it away so I said "I'll have it!" thinking it would be a cheap hobby!!! Ha!!! I've now got 3 tanks, 25 fish and have bids in on e-bay for another 2 tanks...... and being 'gadget-gal' I've bought every piece of fish keeping gear around.... I'd love to get a really big tank and go marine, so I could have anemones, sea urchins, star fish and coral and suchlike. This forum has been great!!

About 4 years.

I got a betta from my sister-in-law that she was given as a present from work. She was moving and didn't have the breakfast bar/counter in their new kitchen where they kept him so she asked if I wanted him. He came to me in a glass vase with a lily on top. I did research and I upgraded him to a 2.5 gallon tank with a filter and a heater.
