A Good Day In Plecoland

It was a double good day in plecoland. Morning cave check revealed an L-134 spawn. I have had 5 so far but not gotten to free swimming fry. 3 were eaten by rival females I believe and the two I attempted to pull were subject to poor dads and a lack of time/preparation on my part so the net was 0 for 5.

Then a friend came by to trade me an English language copy of Ingo Seidel's "Back to Nature Guide to L-Catfishes for some of my excess plants. She thinks she got the better end of the deal but I spent the next few hours and trying to keep the pages dry.

Congrats on the spawn, lets hope they make it to free swimming, are you leaving them be or pulling?

I was thinking of pulling them- I wanted to use an empty 10 gal. but we had a family medical emergency early this morning and I am wiped out. Too tired to try it today.
