I've been using very large plastic crates as temporary emergency homes for my outdoor fish since the freezing weather started 3 months ago. No sign of buckling or leaks yet (fingers crossed) and they are all filled to the top with water. So you could be OK with yours

um i dont mean to rain on your parade as such, but you might want to check if its safe for fish or whether it will leak chemicals into the water over time. Containers that are okay for food are normally okay, but the plastic that they make drinks bottles out of isnt generally as they start to leach chemicals if refilled too many times.


And to join in, get black moores, theyre pretty cool, or the fat little ones that wiggle lots when they swim, cant remember the name.
