Fish Herder
Apologies if this on the wrong thread but as this is a mixed bag, I hope you don't mind.
First my other half has found some work, Yeh hah. It's only a temp contract, but could lead onto other things. A hugh amount of stress is lifted from the Little Monkey household.
2nd? My very generous Sister gave me enough Birthday vouchers to get 10 x Threadfin rainbow fish. I'll give a big thumbs up to Maidenhead Aquatics for being helpfull and having a very good display. On the down side they only had one female available, but I've got her and the rest are males, there are abso no signs of aggression and the males are displaying beutifully. I lost one on sunday
while doing a water change, don't know wether he got in the way of the gravel cleaner or got hit by something, still have the nine and they are doing well.
3rd? Got home friday night and have a whole new set of baby apple snails. So tiny that I had to rescue some that got sucked up while doing the clean. There are another two clusters on the way, so I'll soon have many replacements to the one's I lost some time back.
Just wanted to share my news with you guys. Plus I would like to take this oppotunity to say I hope all those poor people who were affected by the floods get things sorted soon. What a awful thing to happen.
