Hi, just thought I would share my collection so far. There will be more added to these before the big tank is built Apoligies as the pics aren't the highest quality.

Ornate Bichir he's around 12" and very plump

A real fatty after a meal worm feast last night

Blood Parrot - around 6"

Hoplo (really love these, he's around 6" but really plump) Hope to add a few more for the big tank

Thanks a lot. He's the biggest RTBS I've seen tbh. Unfortunately he was that big when I bought him, I didn't grow him up. He may not be with us much longer as he keeps trying to move the ornate from under his wood

I wish mate. Not likely to see any around here Pretty sure I read in one of your posts they can only really be imported, and not for cheap enough to be worth it?

Got 7 at the minute, hope to have around 20 by the time I move to my big tank next year, all different species. I can't seem to get enough of them at the minute, and a massive oddball tank based on these and Datnoides is the reason I am getting the massive tank built.

The RTBS will be fine, he wont be in this size tank with him for long, as already stated, the long term tank is a 1500gal currently being planned. I just think it's funny watching him try and dominate him and the Ornate just paying no attention at all.

The Ornate isn't from Jack mate, I did buy 3 Endi's from him though about 4 or 5 months ago I think. The 2 that are in the pics, and a smaller one who didn't make it. The Ornate was a trade in at a LFS, bought him for £15 and he was already not much smaller than he is there and very thick. He does seem to have a taste for slim fish though. I've got more, 2 Knifefish I can't seem to get pics of. One lives in the big yellow cave in the Ornates tank, the other is in the longer tank and is a BGK. I will try to sort some proper pics out soon, clean up the glass (especially of those snail eggs).
