After some help from members on here....ive finally managed to get my pictures on here.

Took about 8 days from start to finish.
Holds approx 2,100 gallons.....reckon im going to have to get some more fish soon :)

P.S...i understand you have to click on the images to see them clearer.
 
That is a lovely pond,we have done that over the top of ours to.

Im thinking of adding some of that "rush matting" over the top to help keep most of that nasty harmfull sunlight out.
Wifes already sorted out some hanging baskets to hang up :lol:
 
the more & more i look @ this pic, the more im soooooooooooooo tempted to build another lol

How many blocks did you use George? im guessing @ about 150 looking @ the pic.

I actually used approx.230 blocks.
We layed them on their sides as opposed to upright.
The base is about 8 inches thick,then about 3 courses of bricks to reach ground level.
My neighbour who is a builder,did all of the building work while i did all the labouring.
My back was in 2 after..but it was worth it.
Im now looking around local pet stores and garden centres for some more fish.
I would prefer butterfly kio.....they look so gracefull,and of course,i will only add about 1 or 2 at a time.

i like the idea about the clematis cat....but im worried about falling leaves and petals in the pond.
Do they do this?
