A Few Of My Tanks.

Clown plecs are actually panaques. They require wood in their diet. They are one of the most secretive fish there is.

Lol!!! I know you swear by them mate, that's why I recommended it.

Seriously though, my 1000 has been great apart from the flow being #101## poor. Wish I had gone with the 2000.

I must admit i would try a 2000 if there was a 15% code about again, but for the extra £15 of the tetra decent pipes and slightly better flow at normal prices should be a given

I was grouchy when I posted about my Clown :p We don't see him much but when we do we all go running over to peek at him, which of course makes him hide again. LIke an alien sighting. Not bad on the poop situation either. I couldn't keep my BN's on light sand. If we switch to black sand I want some again badly!

Al, the 2000 will have a better flow rate than the TT1200, but yeah the quality is a world apart. As is the media, so yeah, the extra £15 is worth it.

The BN poo is shocking, I wondered what had gone off the morning after I put them in the 70 litre with the play sand, lol.

Spurry, shush.

Was skeptical about using play sand in the puffer tank, i really hate the stuff, but it's cheap and i wanted the black gravel for the Flowerhorn tank so didn't have much choice. Actually suits is quite well imo. The plants are doing great considering that the light doesn't even get switched on anymore, lol. The 5 minutes that it was on for the pics is the longest it has been on for nearly a month. Also upgraded the shrimp from their 13 litre home to the 70 litre. The 13 litre is still set up though so all the shrimplets can grow on so i can actually see them to catch them!
