A Couple Of Shrimp Questions

Hi

I've decided to get some shrimp for my 2 foot tank as an alternative to otos, I'm thinking of the '6 shrimp variety pack' from snailshop.co.uk http/www.snailshop.co.uk/html/shrimps.html. I know you're supposed to keep them in groups to encourage them out of hiding but will they be happy in a mixed species group.

Also has anyone owned blue neon shrimp, are they really bright blue? I can't find any mention of them on fishforums.

never heard of them, but a quick search leads me to believe they are quite possibly
Neocaridina sp. Crystal Blue Shrimp form South East Asia
max out at 3cm temp range 22-25C
