A brief history of...ME!

Hello there folks!

I am Samage, and I'm just 17 years of age...been keeping fish since I was very young, starting with black moors and goldfish. Acquired my first tropical tank aged 12, where I kept lots of platies, which bred quite well.

Moved onto a 4ft aquarium a few years ago, and I now keep a variety of community tropical fish, including many kinds of Tetra, sailfin mollies, catfish, silver sharks, Gouramies and erm...a goldfish.

I also have an interest in amphibians, and I keep in a seperate tank an Albino African Clawed frog called Pinky.

I love animals in general, and have several non-aquatic pets.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm always happy to see another frog guy join us. I have five ACFs and two ADFs.

I used to have an ADF! He sadly died after shimmying up the side of the tank and escaping through a minute hole...

You don't get many frog keepers here in the UK, I get most of my info from American sites, although the frogs themselves are quite readily available.

You sound just like me! I started out with goldfish and black moors when I was young and then moved over to livebearers and got a larger tank. You'll enjoy this website because people here are always there to help you or give you advice!

Although I keep fish, amphibs are my specialist area B)

I think after the fish I currently have are gone, I'll move to amphib-only.

Until then however, I'm gonna enjoy my fishies...!
